MCLN Scholarship Program

The Montgomery County Literacy Network, MCLN, an affiliation of over thirty organizations, businesses, and agencies concerned with literacy issues in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, offers a scholarship program for adults enrolled in a General Educational Development, GED, program. Eligible individuals may receive scholarship support through an established program to aid their progress toward GED certification. The following explains the program.

Goals: To assist adults with financial need in preparing for and taking the GED examinations

Priorities: To assist students working with non-profit agencies committed to providing educational instruction to adults

Eligibility: Students must be attending classes at an agency that provides GED preparation.

Guidelines: Students must submit the application form, a personal letter and "GED Ready" test scores if they want to be considered for a scholarship.

Limitations: All applications will be reviewed. However, MCLN will not be able to approve all applications for assistance.
MCLN has sole discretion to approve or not approve an application.
